American Drone Industries is an aerial production and inspection company based in Atlanta, Georgia. This policy covers americandroneindustries.com. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
What we collect
When you send us a project brief through the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, and anything else you choose to include such as a phone number, company, location, timeline, budget, and a description of the work. We use that solely to reply to you and to quote the job.
If you call or text the number on this site, we have your phone number, in the same way anybody you call does.
Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses and requested pages. That is normal web infrastructure and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote. We do not run advertising retargeting against visitors to this site.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies. If analytics are in use, they are configured to measure page views and traffic sources in aggregate rather than to identify you personally, and you can block them with any standard browser setting or extension without losing any function of the site.
Aerial imagery and privacy
This matters more in our line of work than the cookie question does. We photograph property we have been engaged to photograph, with the permission of the person who owns or controls it. We do not loiter over neighbouring property, we frame to exclude private outdoor space that is not part of the job, and where something private lands in a frame by accident it is deleted rather than delivered. Every flight is conducted under FAA Part 107 by a certificated remote pilot.
If you believe you appear in imagery we captured and you would like it removed, contact us and we will deal with it directly.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the project restarts. Project files and delivered imagery are retained under whatever the engagement agreed. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will.
Third parties
We use ordinary business tools to run the company: a website host, an email provider, and accounting software. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and we do not give them your information for their own purposes.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us and it will be handled by a person rather than a form.
